Political Scientist and Data Analyst

Political scientist and data analyst. I have experience with computational social sciences, especially in political, socioeconomic and social media data analyses.

Currently, I’m a post-doc at the Center for Politics and Economics of the Public Sector (Cepesp) of the Getulio Vargas Foundation in São Paulo, Brazil. PhD in Political Science, University of São Paulo (2021). Visiting fellow at Harvard University (09/2019 to 02/2020). MA in Political Science (2017) and Bachelor of Laws (2014), Federal University of Minas Gerais.

I have worked with data collection, analysis and visualization in several organizations. I worked as a technical adviser at Fundação Seade (São Paulo State Statistical Bureau), developing projects using new technologies to produce and analyze data; as a data coordinator and analyst on Volt Data Lab’s and Núcleo Jornalismo’s projects; and as a data scientist on G1, where I produced news about the Brazilian general elections in 2018.
